Description
Reverse Osmosis Deionization (RO/DI) System is an advanced water purification system that combines two distinct processes to produce high-quality, ultra-pure water. It is commonly used in various industries and applications where water with extremely low levels of contaminants and impurities is required.
The system first employs Reverse Osmosis (RO), which uses a semipermeable membrane to remove a wide range of impurities, including dissolved solids, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants. The RO process is highly effective in producing clean and purified water.
Following the RO process, the water undergoes Deionization (DI), where any remaining charged ions (such as minerals and salts) are removed from the water. Deionization involves the use of ion exchange resins that attract and trap ions, resulting in exceptionally pure water with minimal conductivity.
By combining both Reverse Osmosis and Deionization, the RO/DI system achieves a level of water purity that surpasses traditional RO systems. It can produce water with extremely low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and conductivity levels, often reaching 0 ppm TDS and close to 18 meg.ohm resistivity.
